Formerly known as Berryfields. A fine C18 town house with much of its
original character preserved. Built in red brick. Early C18 front of
3 storeys (top storey added circa 1742 for George Wegg), 7-window range
of double hung sashes with glazing bars in segmental heads; fine
central doorcase with segmental pediment enriched frieze and panelled
reveals, 8-panel door. Interior has some good features, particularly
a fine entrance hall, staircase, panelling and richly decorated and
moulded plaster ceilings. The Roman Town Wall forms part of the
property boundary.
East Hill House forms a group with All Saints House and Grey Friars
