Farmhouse. C18. Probably built for Sir Thomas Prideaux. Slate hung stone rubble.
Delabole slate roof with gabled ends. Two storeys and attic. Four window range.
Sashes with glazing bars. Right hand doorway with panelled reveals and panelled
door, inside a C20 glazed porch. Left hand Victorian porch with hipped slate roof
and chamfered wooden posts. Four hipped dormers. Rendered end and ridge chimney
stacks. C20 gabled wing at rear. Short wing at west end with external stone rubble
chimney stack with set-offs and projecting oven.
Interior: modest late C18/early C19 staircase with hand rail ramped up to newels and
with stick balusters. Early C19 plaster cornice in ground floor centre room.
