Consulting Rooms, formerly dwellings or workplace. C18 or earlier. A long,
low, single storey building, ½ hipped roof to High Street, the main building
following the course of the outer defences of Ongar Castle. Timber framed and
plastered, with panel decoration and some brickwork. Red pantile roof. Central
glazed door with side lights, flat canopy and brackets over. Red brick chimney
stack. An unusual and attractive building.
