House. Early C17 with additions and alterations of C18, C19 and 1977.
Timber-frame with wattle-and-daub infill, rubble and brick, concrete
tile roof. Long house derivative aligned east/west, 2-framed bay house
to west end with one roof bay C19 extension to west, stack to west
end of original house with adjoining spiral staircase, former cowhouse
to east end, not included. Two storeys, C20 plate glass casement to
left (C19) bay; to original house two C20 plate glass casements; ground
floor: 2-light casement to left, porch with lean-to roof, two 2-light case-
emtns. Rear elevation has framing 2 square panels high to the original
house, with rubble to stack. Interior: door from house to cowhouse probably
original. Stopped and chamfered beams to house.
