Country house, now hostel. C18, extended during mid-C19, further C20
alterations. Brick; hipped Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan facing
south with C19 additions to east and west and to rear, central entrance,
end stacks and rear stack. Three-storey main house flanked by C19 two-
storey bowed wings, two string courses broken by central slightly forward
break, moulded cornice and parapet. 2:1:2 sash windows to main house with
pronounced keystones; central Venetian window to first floor. Central Doric
portico, plain overlight and part-glazed inner doors. Three sash windows to
flanking bows. Interior largely altered.
