Chapel now barn. C15 origins with C16 rebuilding to east and later
alterations. For the Langton family with rebuilding for Hungate family.
Magnesian limestone with stone slate roof. Chapel aligned on a north-south
axis. Segment-arched north doorway with moulded surround. To left remains
of segmental-arched opening now partly blocked and with inserted C19 stable
door. Further similar blocked opening to south. West end has 2 C19
openings. Pointed east window of 3 lights with Perpendicular tracery to
heads. To right remains of steps to plank door with Tudor-arched lintel.
