26.4.57 The Old Rectory
II
Late C18, early and late C19. Two storeys and attic, 2 windows. Symmetrical west
elevation, with tile roofing, 1/2-hipped and with a bold brick dentil eaves. Red brick
walling in Flemish bond, with rubbed flat arches. Large Victorian casements. There is
an extensive low east wing, with a series of round-headed windows on the north front
and 2 doors, one of elaborate classical form. The east wing in the south side is of 2
storeys, with vernacular features.
