Farmhouse. Early C18 with some late C20 alterations. Timber-frame with
painted brick infill and machine-tile roof. Three framed bays aligned
east/west, gable-end ashlar stacks, with two rear (north) wings. Garden
(south) front: three windows: C20 casements; ground floor: central entrance
has a wooden architrave and C20 ledged boarded door below a flat canopy on
consoles. Framing: four rectangular panels high. Interior: right-hand
front room has a re-used beam with the inscription: "RC/1582/IC".
