House. Probably early C17 with late C17 and early C19 alterations.
Sandstone rubble with remains of timber-frame, and slate roof. T-plan.
Northern part of house of one storey with attic, with outshut against
north wall and two dormers above. Chimney, with projecting stack, on west
gable. South wing raised to two storeys in C19. South gable wall of one
bay which has windows with glazing bar sashes and keyed lintels. Chimney on
east wall of wing. Interior: northern part of house has wide fireplace with
splayed jambs, and fragments ofa timber-frame. Some square panels are
exposed in the north wall and in the partition wall dividing the two bays.
The central truss has a tie-beam, two vertical struts, and a collar.
