Early or mid Cl8, Stucco. Pitched pantile roof. Deep boarded eaves. Two storeys.
Five bays: narrow segment-headed flush-framed sashes with glazing bars and keystones.
Ground floor has late C19 or early C20 public house front with ashlar dressings:
mullioned and transomed windows and door with 4-centred moulded surround and moulded
oblong fanlight: early C20 stained glass windows with shooting scenes, alleged
to represent the then proprietor of Middlesbrough's Brewery, Selby.
Early C20 Arts and Crafts panelled interior. Panelled doors with brass handles
and finger plates and leaded lights. Bars (that in Smoke Room in shape of a shallow
canted bay window) with mull ions which run up to deep glazed valences with leaded
lights. Built-in settles with Arts and Crafts detailing of arms and legs.
