Farmhouse, now two tenements. C17, largely altered during C18, further
late C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-framed core largely refaced with
sandstone rubble and brick; part tiled and part hipped stone slate roof.
L-plan, earlier house facing north-east with later stone wing added to
south-east end, lateral stacks, entrances to north-east and south-west.
Two storeys and part cellars. North-east front: hipped stone wing to
left with one 3-light casement window to each floor and lower doorway with
ledged door to cellar to left-hand return. Central range with one 3-light
multi-paned casement window below the eaves and part glazed door to ground
floor, gable end of earlier cross-wing to right with one 3-light casement
window to each floor.
