9/11 Rosetta Cottage and
Fern Cottage

Pair of semi-detached estate cottages. Mid C19. Scantling timber-frame and
plaster infill on brick, fishscale and plain tile roof. 1½ storey, 5 bay,
with projecting gables on both sides to 2nd bay from each end. Front has planked
doors in end bays. Projecting gables have 3-light casement under pent-roofed
hood and in gable 2-light casement. In centre bay 2-light casement under pent
roofed hood and gabled dormer with 2-light casement. All casements are cast-iron
lozenge-glazed pane. Finials to gables. Central ridge stack of rectangular
base to 2 octagonal shafts joined at head. Other similar stacks to rear of end
bays.
