Part of L-shaped block (with Nos 10, 12 and 14 The Street). C17, C18 and later. Two
storeys, irregular fenestration. Old tile roof to front (south), thatch on the ridge
and at the rear. Timber frame exposed in the upper part with brickwork infill and
ground-floor walling (some English and header bond using old Basing bricks), plinth
with moulded stone off-set. Modern casements. Plain boarded door in solid frame.
