Row of cottages now 2 dwellings. Circa 1500 with later alterations and rear
outshots. Timber framed and rough rendered. Red plain tiled roofs. 2 red
brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. 4 window range of small paned vertically
sliding sashes. 2 end and 2 central doors, those to Nos. 1 and 2 vertically
boarded and to Nos. 3 and 4 with top lights, pentice boards to ground floor
windows and doors. Internally part of the heavy timber frame visible with stop
chamfered bridging joists and top plates, arched brace to one tie beam, halved
and bridled top plate scarf.
