Public house, at one time the brewery of the Queens Head Hotel(q.v.13/26).
C17/C18 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed and
plastered with batten decoration. Grey slate roof. 2 red brick chimney stacks.
2 storeys. 5 small paned vertically sliding sashes to first floor, 3 to ground
floor, that to left tripartite. Vertically boarded doors to right carriageway.
A glass verandah covers left 4 panelled door and tripartite window. 2 central
C20 porches, one gabled, one hipped, both with panelled doors. Chamfered
bridging and ceiling joists visible internally.
