In the centre a bronze statue by THEED (679) of the Prince Consort wearing the
kilt and with dog and gun, on pedestal of roughly grouped stones. Also, a late
Rcman altar much restored (A), a C19 French bronze of Joan of Arc by Princess
Marie of Orleans (B), a stone urn on pedestal (C), inscribed 'Francis 1st Earl
of Ellesmere' and dated 18 February 1857 and a C19 marble statue of perhaps
Mercury (D).
