31.8.62 Stable range at Gog
Magog Hills)
GV
II
Long stable block, late C18, converted to dwelling-houses
c.1956. Gault brick with tiled roof and dentil eaves cornice.
Small c.1956 stacks. One storey and attics. The ten hipped
dormers, the fenestration and doorways date from the conversion
to dwelling-houses. However the original door and window
openings are more intact at the west end and at the east end is
an opening to stables. Adjoining this range at the west end is
a pair of brick piers, contemporary with the rest of the stable
complex.
