House, 1642. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof. 2 storeys. End
baffle-entry plan. At the left on the ground floor is a 3-light rebated
and chamfered mullioned window with hood. The two 1st floor windows have
rebated and chamfered surrounds, the right-hand one with its sill lowered.
The door, at the right under an open gabled stone porch, has a moulded
surround with triangular head, the lintel inscribed: 'CN 1642'. Chimney at
right with weathered offset and moulded cornice. The left-hand gable wall
is of one bay and has rebated and chamfered mullioned windows with hoods.
The ground-floor one was of 4 lights but now has 3 lights blocked. All 3
lights of the 1st floor window are blocked. Above is a blocked one-light
attic window.
