The original house was a 2-room plan with a wide central hall containing

are in a small parallel range to the rear of the right hand room. In circa
1830-40 a 2-storey 1-room plan wing was added to the rear of the left
hand room overlapping the stair hall from which it has access; this wing
has a parallel roof with the front range. Also in circa 1830-40 a 1-room
plan addition was built at the right end flush with the front but shallower
depth than the original house.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window range plus 1-window circa 1830-40 addition

first floor 12-pane sashes, centre and right hand first floor are later

1st floor sash with horns and a small fixed-light window on the ground
floor left with 9 panes with intersecting glazing bars in the 4-centred
arch head.
Circa 1830-40 addition at rear of left end has bow window on ground and
first floor of gable end;the ground floor has a pair of 12-pane bowed
sashes the first floor one 12-pane bowed sash. Including short section
of wall to left of front; probably circa 1830-40, rendered with wooden
battlements and taller terminal pier; doorway through to garden has a
4-centred headed doorpane and a half-glazed door with intersecting glazing
bars and flush bottom panels.
Interior: staircase has stack balusters and square newels; the bottom
newel is turned. Left hand rook has simple shoulded cornice and simple
wooden chimney piece with round-headed panels to the pilasters. Much of
the original joinery survives including panelled doors, cupboards etc.
An attractive house, little altered since the C19 both externally and
internally.
