Row of cottages, now two dwellings. Late C17 or early C18 and early C19
extension. Timber-framed, plaster rendered and long straw thatch roof.
Ridge stack of red brick and two later stacks of grey brick and probably
C17. End to road. One storey and attic. Six dormers. Small pane mid-late
C2U casements. Two doorways,including one in a modern brick porch to the
original lobby entry. Early C19 extension to end. Probably clunch.
Thatched. Inside: inglenook fireplaces and C19 corner hearth. The original
cottaye was of three bay and lobby entry plan. In early C19 it was extended
away from the road and sub-divided into five tenements.
