Cobbs Wood Farmhouse

House now two dwellings. Early C18. Timber framed, rendered and tiled hipped
roofs. Grey brick ridge stack. Two parallel and adjoining ranges. Two
storeys and attic. Two dormers. Three first floor flush frame mid C19 hung
sashes. Baffle entry doorway. A doorway to the east end probably dates from
C19. The rear range may be a later addition. Inside: there are a number of
doors with fielded panels and a dog or childs gate in the Chinese manner at
the head of the flight of stairs.
