North Chapel at Whitworth Cemetery

Cemetery chapel, left of matching set of three, late 1870s, designed by architects Maxwell and Tuke. Now used for storage. Rock-faced sandstone, slate roof with bands of green slates, red ridging tiles, gabled dormer window on north side, ridge chimney. T-plan: small nave with south transept; in High Victorian Gothic style. West gable has seven lancets, band, and plate-traceried rose above.
Interior: arch-braced kingpost roof with curved struts.
