House. Early and late C17. Timber framed plaster rendered and part
herring-bone pargetted and tiled. Ridge stack to south range now removed.
End stack to domestic wing to north rebuilt. T-plan. One storey and attic.
South elevation has two C19 gable dormers and three windows on either side of
baffle entry doorway. The north range, late C17, has been extended on the
sides, by a lean-to, now rebuilt. In this wing there is some late C17 red
brick. Internal: C17 side purlin roofs with ridge pieces and later roofs
laid over the backs. One room at west end of south range has heavy ceiling
joists laid flat. Secondary roof laid over the original arch evidence of
later framing on the original.
