House, 1690, altered 1868. Glen Cross probably a C19th addition. Slobbered
rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys. Rose cottage of 3 bays having 6-pane
sash windows, except for the left-hand one on the ground floor which has 4
panes. Windows have plain stone surrounds on the ground floor and rebated
and chamfered surrounds on the 1st floor. Door, in central bay, has a
chamfered surround with battlemented lintel and a hood with head stops.
The lintel is inscribed: REP 1868 IBI 1690'. End chimneys. Glen Cross, at
the right, is of one bay having sashed windows with plain reveals. The
door, at the left, also has plain reveals. Right-hand gable chimney.
