House and butcher's shop. Mid to later C17, altered and extended in C20. Plastered
cob walls. Thatch roof gabled to right, half-hipped to left end and rear wing.
Rendered brick stack at left-hand end and axial brick stack to rear wing.
Plan: 2-room plan front range with kitchen wing behind left-hand room and
outbuildings beyond. Right-hand room converted to shop probably in the C20 with
addition behind it.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2-window front of later C20 diamond leaded light
casements on 1st floor and to left on ground floor. C20 shop window to right on
ground floor. C20 plank door to right of centre. Long wing behind left-hand end
has C17 chamfered wooden window frame on 1st floor from which the 2 mullions have
been removed. Inserted garage opening below.
Interior inaccessible at time of survey apart from shop which exhibits no early
features.
