House. Late C17. Timber framed, rendered and steeply pitched roof,
originally thatched. Two C19 grey brick ridge stacks. Lobby entry and three
bay plan. One storey and attic with later outshut at rear. Three flat roof,
mid-C20 dormers with three replacement windows. Casements with arched top
panes in square heads. Three similar early C19 windows at ground floor. The
doorway to the lobby entry has a fanlight with intersecting pointed arches, a
panelled door and trellis work porch. Shop addition to right hand end.
Inside: Some of the early mid C17 frame is visible. Substantial scantling
and jowled heads to the posts. Red brick inglenook hearth with ogee stop
chamfer to bressumer. Ovolo moulding to main beam.
