House. C17, C19. Timber framed, wattle and daub infill, and plaster
render. Flint plinth. Modern tile roof and red brick ridge stack.
Originally three bay and lobby entry plan. Two storeys and attic. Two early
C19 gable eaves dormers, with bargeboarding and original casements with
pointed top panes. Two later C19 first floor casements and three at ground
floor. Doorway to lobby now with modern porch. Extended by one bay at east
end. C19. Clay bat on brick plinth. Tiled roof. Two storeys. One similar
casement to each storey. A rebuilt rear ranye incorporates an early C19
casement with pointed top panes. Interior: Passage constructed through
chimney stack in C19. Service bay at west end has heavy ceiling joists laid
flat. Some moulded main beams. Tenoned purlin roof in line. The attic
stair is original.
