GV II

House. Late C17 and early C19. Red brick with slate roof, wood eaves cornice and
two c.1840 symmetrical white brick internal stacks with linked capping. Square plan.
Two storeys and attic. Two hipped dormers. Symmetrical main elevation of three
sixteen-pane hung sashes, early C19 in segmental arches. Early C19 cast iron-tented
portico replaced by mid C20 Doric portico to doorway in round headed arch with panelled
door and radial glazing bars to fanlight. Garden front has similar fenestration but
blocked centre windows at first floor with original stone panel with foliate design.
Inside. Early C19 staircase with one late C17-early C18 cupboard remain.
