Swifts Cottage

Cottage formerly a pair. Late C17 or early C18. Timber-framed and roughcast
rendered, plastered plinth. Central red brick ridge stack. Half hipped
thatched roof. One storey and attic, each cottage originally with two unit
plan open hearth and baking oven, now modified. Two panelled doors, one
casement and one horizontal sliding sash window. Two eyebrow dormer windows.
Interior: Exposed timber-frame and floor frame. One boxed staircase to
south-west end.
