Stocks. Inscribed "John Wood Constable 1730". Stone with
renewed wooden foot restraints. Heavy stock ends (one of
which is sheathed in cast iron as a remedial measure) which
are grooved half way up on the front and rear faces, have
shaped heads and are groove for foot restraints. Formerly
located outside Ashton-Under-Lyne workhouse. Presented by
