Farmhouse. "JWM 1713" on datestone. Rendered brick with
graduated stone slate roof. Double-depth central-staircase
plan with 2 storeys and a 2-storey porch. Symmetrical
elevation with first floor band. The central door is dated
IWM 1717 on a decorative back plate. It originally formed
the inner door to an open porch but is now in the outer
opening with a segmental-arched light above. The door
originates from the former Davyhulme Hall. The porch has a
C20 casement window on the first floor and the datestone
within the gable. 4 cross-casement windows to each floor.
Gable chimney stacks each with 3 diagonally set shafts in
brick. Stair window to rear. Interior retains ovolo-
