House. Late C17/early C18 with later alterations. Hammer-
dressed stone with slate and graduated stone slate roof and
brick stack. L-shaped 2-storey range. Projecting plinth,
stone quoins and total of three brick chimney stacks. Two doors:
in bay 2 with a square-cut surround and now converted to a
window, and in bay 4 with a square-cut surround and now
obscured by a C20 buttress. 6-light windows to bay 1 (which
is an addition) with chamfered stone mullions on ground
floor and flat-faced on the first. 2 and 4-light double-
chamfered cavetto-moulded stone mullion window to right of
door with 4-light flat-faced mullion window on first floor
(with 2 mullions removed). The rear of bay 1 projects as an
outshut. The large rear wing has three triple sash windows, a
double-chamfered stone mullion window and was at some stage
extended by one bay.
