2 houses, formerly several cottages. Late C17, early C18
and mid C18. Hammer-dressed stone with slate and asbestos
slate roof. Long single-depth 2-storey range incorporating
a barn in bay 1 (now part of the house). No. 24 has 4 bays,
quoins, a blocked cart door, 2-light windows to each floor
of bay 2, 3-light to each floor of bays 3 and 8 and 7-light
to bay 4. All have flat-faced stone mullions many of which
have been replaced in C20. Doors have been re-located, the
C20 porch now on the east of the building which is much
altered. No. 28 is the older part and has a C20 bay window
and a door obscured by a lean-to beneath a 2-light double-
chamfered mullion window. The right elevation has quoins, a
4-light recessed chamfered ground floor mullion window and a
2 and 4-light double-chamefered stone mullion window on the
first floor. Ridge chimney stacks.
