Public House and cottage. Early C19 with later extensions to rear.
Brick, rendered, pantile roofs. 2 storeys, 8 windows to first floor.
Anvil Arms has door of 6 raised and fielded panels in plain wood
surround. Flanking 16-pane sashes in plain surrounds with stone sills
First floor has 4-pane sash over door, elsewhere sliding sashes with
glazing bars and stone sills. Cottage to left has boarded main door,
boarded half-door to service entrance to left. 4 C20 windows with
glazing bars and stone sills to ground floor, 4 sliding-sashes with
glazing bars and stone sills in plain surrounds to first floor, and
small C20 window with glazing bars to right. End and axial stacks.
Hipped roof to left, gable with oversailing eaves to right.
