Stable block. Late C18. Brick in English bond, timber eaves cornice,
slate roof. 2 storeys, 13 bays 5:3:5. Symmetrical elevation. Centre
breaks forward slightly under low pediment. Central boarded carriage
doors under segmental brick arch with key-block, flanked by 16-pane
sashes with stone sills and shallow segmental gauged brick arches,
6-pane sashes with stone sills and shallow segmental gauged brick arches
to first floor. Wing to left has 6-panel doors with rectangular
fanlights with glazing bars alternating with 12-pane windows to ground
floor, 6-pane sashes to first floor, all openings under gauged brick
arches. Wing to right has similar fenestration with inserted C20
carriage door to centre bay. Windows and doors in moulded wooden
architraves throughout. Dentilled timber eaves cornice and cornice to
pediment, axial stacks, hipped roof.
