Mid C18 house with modern additions at rear. Red brick with
parapetted plain tile roof and end stacks. Two storeys and
attics. Three hipped dormers. Band at eaves height and between
storeys. Cambered arches to range of five hung sashes with
glazing bars in flush wood frames. Four similar windows flank
central doorway. Doorcase of fluted pilasters, plain
entablature with doric frieze, dentil cornice and triangular
pediment. Door of six raised and fielded panels. Two original
bell shaped rainwater heads to facade. Adjoining mid C18 shaped
wall at south end, red brick, and at north end, adjoining red
brick cottage, originally part of a row. Plain tiled. Two sash
windows with glazing bars.
Interior. Late C18 staircase of four flights, open string with
square section balusters and turned newels, scroll tread ends.
