Late C17 or early C18 house with c.1830 additions to East and
North. Soft, red brick with plain tiled roof and original ridge
stack. Two storeys and attics. Range of three C18 horizontal
sliding sashes with glazing bars in flush wood frames at first
floor and two C19 hung sashes with glazing bars on either side
of doorway. Early C19 portico, semi-circular in plan with flat
roof carried on slender doric columns. Doorcase of thin, reeded
pilasters with entablature. Double doors with six raised and
fielded panels. c.1830 parallel and adjoining range to East.
Two storeys. Red brick, plain tiled. Four centred, gauged
brick arches to three c.1830 recessed horizontal sliding sashes
with glazing bars and Gothic tracery to heads. Segmental arches
and flush wood frames to one full length casement, one casement
and half glazed door at ground floor. Small C19 single storey
service wing to North. Gault brick. Interior. Sealed
inglenook and late C17 chamfered and stopped main beam to North
ground floor room. Early C19 staircase in centre bay, of two
flights and landing, open string with square section balusters
with scrolls to tread ends. Early C19 panelling to shutters and
doors in South ground floor room. C18 door of four raised and
fielded panels to North ground floor room.
