Folly. Late C18. Red brick with stone dressings. Gothick style.
Octagonal structure with buttresses with offsets presumably in imitation of
a chapter house of c1300. Pointed openings to 7 sides: the eighth has been
infilled to form a fireplace. Roofless, overgrown, and derelict at time of
resurvey.
