Circa 1846. Small former station and keeper's cottage on the Syston and Peterborough
line (Midland Railway) opened in 1846.
Coursed stone with freestone dressings. Collyweston stone roof with coped
gable ends. Facing line: one storey, three bays, centre gabled and breaks
forward and two small flanking gables. Modern casement windows. End to road
has stone canted bay window. Chimney stack off centre. Modern extension at
rear (south) sympathetically designed.
