A gate house to Dropmore. Mid C19 and said to be to a design of Lady
Grenville's. One storey plus attic. Picturesque in composition with an over-
sailing upper storey and a big gable to the road. Built from medieval bench-
ends, early Renaissance and Jacobean panels, oak chests and blocks used for
printing cotton cloth etc. Also incorporated are twisted and fluted
colonnettes.
