House. Probably late C16. Timber frame with coursed rubble, coursed
squared rubble, and some brick infilling to ground floor, pantiled roof.
Hearth-passage plan form. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Principal wall posts on
padstones with first-floor rail. First floor is studded: the wall posts are
arch braced to the wall plate. Ground floor: plain boarded door to right
bay, 2-light casement to centre bay, 2-light sliding sash to left bay, all
with sills and glazing bars. First floor: sliding sashes with glazing bars
to left and centre bays, 2-light window with glazing bars over door. Axial
stack and stack to front wall, left end. Plain close verges to left, hipped
roof to right.
