Chest tomb. Early C19, to Thomas Ivey, died 1809 aged 67 and his wife Alice who died 1840 aged 97. Dressed granite with small incised slate lid insert at the east end.
Rectangular on plan.
The chest sides are of square granite slabs fastened with iron staples and the lid is a granite monolith with a slightly projecting square edge. Overgrown with ivy.
Inscribed with the following epitaph:
Corruption earth and Worms
Shall but refine his Flesh
Till my triumphant Spirit comes
To put it on afresh.
