Cottage. Probably late C18. Limewashed rubble with pantiled roof. One storey,
2 windows. Central boarded door flanked by 2-light horizontal sliding sashes,
under thin stone lintels. No chimney.
Interior: plain stone surround to kitchen range against left gable, with
brick and stone water-pot holder at left,central fire with front bars, and
small square cast iron oven at right with crest of Lord Barnard in low relief;
stone and brick over fire and oven, stone lintel over water pot.
