Early C19 brick built farmhouse, 'L' plan, with a long 8 bay range also in brick
to the north-west, now a museum. Entrance front faces south-east. 2 storeys.
3 windows. Shallow hipped slate roof with projecting eaves. Glazing bar sash
windows with rubbed brick flat arches. Central stucco entrance enclosed with stucco
piers and parapet, round headed. Return to south-west has round headed doorway,
with fanlight, in corner and 3+1+1 glazing bar sash windows (2 tripartite on ground
floor).
