Offices of Millbrook Steamboat and Trading Company, possibly originally an outer
lodge at the ferry landing for Mount Edgcumbe House. Early C19, incorporating
earlier features of C17, with C20 addition to left in similar style. Sandstone
random rubble with granite dressings, addition of C20 in rockfaced rubble.
Single storey, single room plan, with addition at same height forming a second room.
Front has 2 re-used granite doorways, hollow chamfered, with 4-centred arches and
leaves carved in spandrels, C20 doors; blocking course and embattled parapet.
Attached to left, similar C20 addition has single light, late C19 clock with gable
fixed to wall, blocking course and embattled parapet continued. Large quoins to
first building. Right side has re-used single granite light with 2-centred arch,
roll-moulded. Left side has C20 light. Rear has similar single granite light to
left, C20 block stepped forward to right with window to side and rear.
