Once the White Hart Inn, later the Apple Orchard Guest House. Late C16 or early C17. Colour washed bricks with timber framed 1st floor oversailing on exposed corbels, old tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics. Ground floor has central bay window, door flanked by panelled pilasters with square panelled capitals. 1 3 light and 1 4 light wooden mullioned casements 2 doors on left. 1st floor has 3 flush 3 light wooden mullioned casements and 1 single light casement. 1 gabled dormer. Late C17 brick chimney stack with in-and-out quoins enclosing round headed panels on each face. Interior has exposed ceiling beams on ground floor. R.C.H.M., p 319.
