C15 or C16 structure behind C18 front.
Two storeys and attic. Dark red brick with lighter dressings and window
surrounds. Stuccoed string at first floor level. Deep coved stucco cornice.
Three wide gabled dormers, Cl9, Old tile roof.
Six windows on first floor in moulded frames, no glazing bars, with projecting
rubber brick heads, the main cornice broken forward slightly above each
pair of windows. Each window has a stuccoed apron, curved at sides, and
carried down to string. Five similar windows, but flush heads and no aprons,
on ground floor, and eight-panel door in panelled reveal with architrave
surround, plain frieze, moulded cornice and pediment. Interior has two
panelled rooms (now one) and two Adam type fireplaces. Carriage entry
at side with large double 8-panel doors.
