Dated 1634. Timber frame and painted brick nogging, the ground storey bricked-in
and sham painted as timber frame; 2 storeys; 2 gables with restored barge-boards.
Gable over doorway has casement window with moulded wood mullions and transom,
and renewed leaded lights, elsewhere windows and doorways restored in facsimile
style; thatched roof; beam over entrance carved with initials NRK and above date.
Interior altered but retains exposed ceiling beams and framing timbers. Later
2 storey wing, (probably 3 cottages originally), attached on left-hand side, sham
painted as timber frame and with tile roof.
