Farmhouse. C18 and Mid C19. Two storey rendered L-shaped black with an older
part to the north-east. The latter probably dates from about 1774 when the
Manor was sold to the Duke of Bedford. The main part is mid-C19. Three bays
to north-west. Glazing bar sash windows, middle one blind over pilastered
doorcase with a panelled door and patterned rectangular fanlight. Projecting
eaves to slate roof hipped at south-west end. Two off-ridge brick chimneys.
Two ranges of matching windows to south-west. The older part has tiled roof
of steeper pitch with two brick chimneys one at north-west gable end. Ground
floor window to south-west is casement with glazing bars.
