Two houses. Lantern Cottage has altered C17 wing to rear with mid
C19 bay at front; Pennies, to left, is early C19, altered. Colourwashed
brick, old tile roofs, brick chimneys. 2 storey front ranges. Pennies
has narrowfirst floor band course, 2 bays of 3-light barred wooden
casements, and single light in blocked door to right. C20 door with
gabled hood to left of centre, garage door to left. Front bay of
Lantern Cottage has 4-pane sash to ground floor, 3-light barred wooden
casement above, and C20 door in right side. Rear range has 2-storey
gabled bay to left with 3-light wooden casements and blind attic panel,
and 2 lower bays of one storey and an attic to right. These have paired
barred wooden casements, those to attic in gabled eaves-line dormers.
Large C17 chimney between right bays. Pennies is included for group value.
